Wed 8/16 – The Air That I Breathe…

Today, Indivisible Ventura is asking you to do one (1) action.

“Which is great, because you actually asked us to do 16 yesterday!!!” (Yes, we did.)

We’re asking for just this one today because this is a foundational action, one that literally affects the political environment we move through every day. Because what happened to this woman’s dad happened to mine, and happened to people all over the country. And it is still happening…to people who never miss an election.

These letters can have a large effect on their audience, mostly older and more conservative readers. State your truth. Describe the future for kids and grandkids. Bring it home to their kitchen table.

Oil and water still don’t mix, Mr. Trump! Today’s the deadline to tell him!

The Trump administration wants to start drilling in marine sanctuaries, including our own Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary.

Maybe they don’t remember… Maybe they don’t care.

We need to stop them.

California Broadband Internet Privacy Act (AB 375) would prohibit an Internet service provider from using, disclosing, selling, or permitting access to customer personal information without prior consent. The FCC is corporatizing the internet. Light it up!

Battle for the Net! – Net Neutrality Day of Action.  

Net neutrality protects our free speech on the Internet. The FCC wants to destroy net neutrality and give internet service providers like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T control over what we see and do online. If they get their way, they’ll allow widespread throttling, blocking, censorship, and extra fees. 

July 12th, the Internet came together to stop them!
