- Background in commercial and residential real estate

- Currently a Moorpark Parks and Recreation Commissioner (appointed by the City Council)
- Previously a Ventura County Parks Advisor (appointed by Supervisor Bob Huber).
- In 1997, chaired the campaign for Moorpark’s Measure P, a proposed parks maintenance assessment – it won majority support but fell short of the two-thirds threshold then required, and is credited with laying the groundwork for the parks funding solution implemented shortly after.
- Has also chaired campaigns for several local candidates, including Renee Delgado’s Moorpark City Council run – notable since Delgado is the incumbent in Moorpark’s other contested 2026 race
