While we tussle with getting 17,500 postcards to their new homes, you can get started now by contacting Postcards to Swing States DIRECTLY. The only difference is that you’ll be providing your own postcards and postage.

Pick a quantity and buy your postcards here. (50 card minimum)
“Postcards to Swing States” will email you voter addresses and instructions.
Buy enough $0.35 postcard stamps.
Write the short message as shown below below (We do LOTS of postcards!)

Tues 12/10: Today’s do-it-ourselves-democracy action – 2 actions for election security.

Action #1 – Call your senator to add election security to the budget on Dec. 20th.

Minimal script: I’m calling from [zip code] and I’m asking Senator______ to protect election security by:

1. Dedicating at least the $600 million the house passed for election security

2. Requiring hand-marked paper ballots only, no machine marked paper ballots, with the single exception of non-tabulating ballot marking devices for voters who need assistance.

3. Requiring a secure chain of custody of the ballots.

Wed. – 11/14: Resistance writers! Let’s say “HELLO” to Mississippi! Join us Friday 11/16 to push Espy over the finish line.

Action #1 – Meet us for postcard-writing at Santino’s Pizza this Friday in Ventura, 11 – 2!

We’ll be asking voters in Mississippi to turn out again on November 27th in a Special Election Runoff to help Democrat Mike Espy, former congressman and Secretary of Agriculture in the Clinton administration, beat Republican incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith, who is now really famous for doing this. If he wins this runoff, he’ll also become the first black senator for that state since Reconstruction.
