Action #1 & 2 – Tell your legislator we support their use of “every remedy available” to stop this wall boondoggle.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y, confirmed in a tweet Friday that she and Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, plan to introduce a joint resolution to terminate the emergency declaration, something House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said Thursday that he fully supports.
Minimal Script #1 for all legislators: I’m calling from [zip code] and I support Rep./Sen. [__] efforts to use every remedy available, including voting for a resolution of disapproval for the president’s false declaration of an emergency and to engage in a lawsuit if necessary to stop this process.
Minimum script #2 for senators only: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want /Sen. [__] to know that I support the RAIDER Act of 2019

It’s the terrorists!!! For those without a score card, the administration has decided to stop flogging their story that terrorists are streaming over the border, based on, well…facts.
No, just kidding…it’s the drugs! Lindsey Graham is going to the mats for Trump’s newer incorrect reason to hold us hostage for a wall, stating (see video below) that it will somehow cure our country’s opioid addiction. Considering that our addiction started right here at home with the help of drug companies and doctors, and that the El Chapo’s trial proved that the wall won’t stop them, the end of our opioid addiction is unlikely. Drugs are coming in through our border gates, through corruption in HHS, through tunnels and being flung over medieval-tech walls with equally medieval-tech catapults. Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, is being mailed in parcels from China to Canada and Mexico, as well as directly to users in the US. Lindsay Graham thinks this payoff to Trump’s base is more important than an educated workforce or all the defense projects that it’s starving. (Ok, really, what in the world does the Enquirer have on this man?) Great video on the latest congressional fight here.
Sir, the committee wants the names… Good video on the latest congressional fight here. We don’t know which military people Trump pretended he talked to, (and it’s not the first time he’s made up conversations) but the 2018 military budget was $6.4 billion, with an hoped-for expansion to $8.9 billion for 2019. Scooping out $3.5 billion would be a substantial chunk. Military news sources are not happy about their construction money being used for a vanity project. (defense news) (Military times)(usatoday)
