TRUMP/RUSSIA
Trump has now missed two deadlines in implementing the sanctions against Russia for its interference in the 2016 election, a bill he signed and made into law. The State Department said last Monday that the sanctions are “not needed” and therefore will not be implemented. This is an unprecedented violation of our constitution as the Executive branch is refusing to uphold the law passed by a veto-proof majority of the Legislative branch.

RUSSIA INVESTIGATION
Last March, Nunes snuck over to the WH to tell Trump he’d seen secret intelligence reports backing the president’s claims that Obama had “wiretapped” his offices. The documents had actually come from the administration. Now, per House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi, “The decision of Chairman Nunes and House Republicans to release a bogus memo has taken the GOP’s cover-up campaign to a new, completely unacceptable extreme.” Nunes deserves to be censured by his colleagues and stripped of his chairmanship.
Minimal Script: I’m calling from [zip code] to tell Rep. [___] to request that Representative Nunes be removed from the House Intelligence Committee for his deliberately deceptive actions and breach of trust of the American people and formally censured.

RELEASE THE HOUSE DEMOCRATIC RESPONSE MEMO! – Our action is on hold…
Since publishing a call to our Representatives to demand this happen, one way or another, The GOP-led House Intelligence Committee has voted unanimously to release it for the full House to review, along with the FBI and the DOJ. The White House will then have 5 days to decide whether or not to release it to the public.
Meanwhile, the twitter wars are in full swing…
Stay tuned for a call-to-action if the White House redacts the meaning out of it or outright refuses to release it.
REMEMBERING HISTORY
(Loved the cannon story but it wasn’t real… Apologies!)
