Both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, Ventura County is sponsoring resistance activities on the anniversary of the first Women’s March, the largest collective protest march in US history.
Come make history again and join in with your fellow resistors and fill up on the strength and resilience we need as we prepare for the 2018 elections. If you missed the last march, come join with us now.
THIS Saturday, Jan. 20th – Women’s March Day Everywhere!
Come to your local Ventura County event! It’s a march, it’s a rally, it’s fun! Lots of community organizers to talk to and learn about opportunities to become involved. Bring your family-friendly signs that express our political strength and committment to creating a world that stands up not only for women’s rights but also for justice for all. You don’t have to be part of the planning committee to help out at this event. You can sign up to work a shift during, before, or after the rally and still participate in the march itself. If you would like to help/volunteer at the event, there are still volunteer slots to fill at this link.
Get information on the Los Angeles Women’s March here. If you haven’t signed up for the Indivisible Conejo buses here, they recommend you look at the rally bus website here. The Indivisible Conejo group will be meeting up at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Checkers Hotel, located at 535 S. Grand Ave., to head together to Pershing Square for the start of the march.
THIS SUNDAY! Jan. 21st – VCRRN Movie Screening – Birthright: A War Story
