Democratic legislators AT ALL LEVELS and officials endorsed by Democratic clubs must stop collaborating with the GOP agenda now!
Action #1 – Just say “NO” to Trump’s toxic nominees, especially this guy, Russell Vought – the Christo-fascist behind Project 2025.
Our Senate Democrats made a good start at “spine-itude” by boycotting Vought’s Senate committee hearing. Vought, the architect behind Project 2025’s strategy to consolidate all government power in the presidency and essentially render Congress powerless — “is not a normal nominee and that he doesn’t even deserve their “NO” votes.” As for his full Senate vote, Democrats should utilize all the lessons that Mitch McConnell taught them while blocking progress by Democratic-controlled Senates for decades, including obstructing Obama‘ choices‘s nominees for federal judicial vacancies for two years.
But Vought is just one facet of Project 2025. There’s literally a chapter in that manifesto for every nominee, and no matter what they say to the public, or to senators on nominating committees, they will obey every word of these instructions. Our Senate Dems knew better than to put a single vote towards serial drunk, groper, and management incompetent, Peter Hegseth, but many cheerfully voted for Trump-Tax-Scam cheerleader and personal tax-avoider Scott Bessent, the new Secretary of the Treasury Dept. who just gave full access to Musk.
They also just helped confirm Chris Wright, CEO of a fracking company that violated safety standards and anti-discrimination laws, to lead the Energy Department. Lena Moffitt, executive director of climate advocacy group Evergreen Action stated: “No Democrat should have voted to confirm a wealthy fossil fuel executive who claims ‘there’s no clean energy’ and whose only qualifications appear to be writing big checks to Trump’s campaign.”
Sweet jeezuz, just say “NO” to them all, people!
Minimal CALL script for your (2) Senate Democrats: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want [legislator’s name] to say “NO” and/or BOYCOTT all Trump’s nominees going forward. Boycotting the nomination hearing of Russ Vought was great, but Democrats now share the blame for voting in Treasury Secretary Bessent, who literally just handed our government over to Elon Musk. And now, Dems are now responsible for helping a fossil fuel executive take over our Dept. of Energy. What could go wrong there? We expect [legislator’s name] to use every weapon Mitch McConnell used to install our wildly extremist majority on the Supreme Court – blanket opposition, quorum calls, and blocking unanimous consent—parliamentary guerrilla tactics to slow, stall, and obstruct the nomination of every one of Trump’s Project 2025 nominees. Our descent into fascism must not be “bipartisan!” No more complicity. No more collaboration. Grind this process to a halt, Senators. RESIST!

No wonder voters have trouble distinguishing between the parties. But there will be no appeasing Project 2025’s Christo-fascists, who will continue to target vulnerable minorities, just as Germany did in the 1930’s.
