 AB 481 (Chiu), which will help stop the flow of military equipment to California law enforcement agencies. 

Today, Friday, 5/14/21 is a Day of Action to help to move AB 481 out of the Appropriations Committee.

1. Tweet Appropriations Committee Chair Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez @LorenaAD80 using sample tweets from the social media toolkit where you can also download & share graphics from the toolkit for Instagram or Twitter.
2. Call Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez at (916) 319-2080 to urge her to support AB 481 and move it out of the Appropriations Committee – especially if you live in her district.
3. Write a letter of support (attached) for the Appropriations Committee. Please submit to the online portal here by tomorrow, 5/14/21, and email it to eIizeth@youth4justice.org.
