This non-partisan and family friendly event will raise the voice of mothers and others across the nation against family separation and the detention of immigrant children.

Children have been and are still being separated from their parents. Thousands of children are being held in detention centers around the country—- more than 2,000 teens are imprisoned in Homestead, Florida alone. This is an ongoing humanitarian crisis and these families must be treated with dignity and compassion. We need to address this crisis immediately, and the best way to do that is by taking action.

On Mother’s Day, show immigrant mothers and families that you have their backs by joining a local Mother’s Day Rally to End Family Separation and Detention.

All families belong together and free. Which is why on Mother’s Day, we’re honoring motherhood by taking a stand to show we will never forget and that we won’t stop fighting until the government reunites and frees every family it’s torn apart.

Respecting people’s basic rights, fairly assessing each immigration case and ensuring families are together and children are safe isn’t a matter of right and left. It’s a matter of right and wrong. Together, we can make this a nation we’re proud to leave our kids, one that honors the courage and commitment of those who would do anything to make life better for their families.

By choosing to attend this event, you are committing to participate nonviolently and in accordance with the law, to work to de-escalate confrontations with others, and to obey the orders of authorized event marshals and of law enforcement. You also acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any injury or damage to your person or property resulting from or occurring during this event and that you release all event sponsors and organizers (and their officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any liability for that injury or damage.
