Action #1 – Thank our legislators for stepping up!

Our Reps. Brownley and Carbajal are two of the 225 legislators cosponsoring Rep. Joaquin Castro’s (D-TX) H.J.Res.46 – “Relating to a national emergency declared by the President on February 15, 2019”. Thank them for doing the right thing!

Let’s make H.J.Res.46 veto-proof. That means that we need help from the 11 Democratic legislators who missed the big cosponsor rush on Friday, in addition to 52 House Republicans to join in.

For those of us with Democratic legislators, we need to encourage them to vote for this law… Rep.: HR 1214/Senate: S.534 “Protecting Disaster Relief Funds Act” – A bill to prohibit certain funds from being transferred or reprogrammed to plan, develop, or construct a new physical barrier along the southwest border, and for other purposes.
