Remind your senators that this is a non-negotiable issue.
- For those legislators who don’t care about the the lives of people or the environment, remind them that they can be replaced. (See “last election”) Call them.
- For those who do, remind them that they speak for us. Give them your backing to do the right thing. Give them your courage to stand up to the opposition and possibly to their friends. Call them.
Minimal Script: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want Sen. [____] to stand firm against any legislation that funds an immoral, ineffective and environmentally devastating border wall.
More script if you need it: Not only is this a waste of money, but it also destroys our national wildlife refuges, as well as the eco-tourism that thrives because of them.

LADDER FUND: In response to this guy’s GoFundMe to build the border wall… this one has been created “to fund ladders to go over the wall”. The money actually goes to Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) Help them here.
MIGRANT SHELTER.San Diego Rapid Response Network (SDRRN), a coalition of human rights, religious and service organizations, has worked with partners to set up a migrant shelter and are responding to the needs of these vulnerable children and families by providing meals, medical care and legal services. They are raising funds (1) to maintain the daily operation of the shelter and provide basic necessities, such as food, blankets and bedding, portable showers and toilets; and (2) to help provide free legal representation for these families and fund bond fees.
