Tues 6/12: Grassley and McConnell are pushing these horrors through. Fight back.

Make sure your senators know that justice for all, not just for corporations and the wealthy, matters to you.

Minimum Script: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want Senator [___] to oppose the latest round of extremist judges, including David Porter, Ryan Bounds, Britt Grant, Thomas Farr, and Patrick Wyrick.

Senator Feinstein: DC (202) 224-3841, LA (310) 914-7300, SF (415) 393-0707, SD (619) 231-9712, Fresno (559) 485-7430

Blow the whistle on Sen. Grassley for sending on candidates that even their own state senators can’t stand.

This may be the only way us Californians can reach this guy. Original post here.

More Information on these nominees…

bob casey

  • Ryan Bounds to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
We are unpersuaded and he’s been passed by the nominating committee, despite the fact neither senator returned a blue slip endorsing him. Now is the time to talk to your senators directly. (Our original post here.)

  • Britt Grant to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. No, No, No. Original post here.

  • Thomas Farr to the US District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina

  • Patrick Wyrick to the US District Court, Western District of Oklahoma.

Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree: This guy is a protege of current destroyer and looter of the EPA, Scott Pruitt. When Pruitt was Solicitor General for the State of Oklahoma, Wyrick helped Pruitt dismantle environmental protections while creating bonds with oil and gas lobbyists, including incorporating talking points from oil, coal and gas lobbyists against environmental regulations, and then accepting campaign funds from them. (The New York Times,  Natural Resources Defense Council)

Wyrick, with Pruitt, also advocated for restrictions on women’s reproductive health, helped dismantle protections for workers, defended a law that attempted to codify religious intolerance toward Muslims, and even came under fire for allegedly attempting to mislead the U.S. Supreme Court during his defense of Oklahoma’s death penalty protocol. He has been judged unqualified to serve in this postition by the Alliance for Justice.
