Although Trump has deep concerns for the welfare of people being hit by bags being thrown over the wall by drug dealers, (no, really!) he hasn’t given a second’s thought to our wildlife. Initial soil testing for construction has begun on a section that would split an important refuge ecosystem in two. Negative wildlife impact from border fencing has been well-documented, and this unnecessary barrier will harm our wildlife and the environment.

Script: I calling Congressperson [_____] to OPPOSE including any border-wall funding in the next budget, and to oppose any legislation that would provide additional funding. Not only is this a waste of money for security reasons, but it also destroys our national wildlife refuges, as well as the eco-tourism that thrives because of them.
Rep. Salud Carbajal: (CA-24): DC (202) 225-3601, SB (805) 730-1710 SLO (805) 546-8348

Oh, and Mexico isn’t paying for the wall…
And where would we be in a discussion about the border wall without a moment with former Mexican President Vicente Fox…
