John K. Bush’s extreme views render him unfit for a federal bench
Trump has nominated John K. Bush, who has no prior experience as a judge, to a lifetime appointment on the U.S. Court of Appeals. Bush is a commercial litigator and serves as chapter president of the ultra-conservative Federalist Society. He is hostile to reproductive choice, the protection of LGBT rights, campaign finance reform, and freedom of the press.
Script: I’m calling today to express my concern about the nomination of John K. Bush to the U.S. Court of Appeals. A person who holds such extreme views does not deserve a lifetime appointment to a Federal Court.
