1. Immediate action! Defund ICE through the new funding bill!
We have an opportunity, this month, to rein in ICE’s lawlessness nationwide. ICE and Border Patrol are part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which is currently funded only through January 30 – just 15 days from now.
The new funding bill that’s currently being written is our opportunity to put significant restrictions on ICE and ensure it doesn’t get a single penny more to enable its brutality.
This bill cannot pass without Dem votes in the Senate, so we have real leverage here. But we need to act fast, and we need to be loud.
Minimal script for Representatives and Senators: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want [Sen._____] vote NO on any DHS funding bill unless it reins in ICE. Specifically it must:
- Reject increased funding for ICE or Border Patrol
- Restrict ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to conduct dragnet arrest operations
- EndBorder Patrol deployments to our cities
- LimitsDHS’s reprogramming and transfer authority

2. Demand that your representative sign onto articles of impeachment against Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
Update! The resolution “H.Res.996 – Impeaching Krist Lynn Arnold Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, for High Crimes” is now up on the congress.gov site and includes the following charges:
- Obstruction of Congress
- Violation of Public Trust
- Self-Dealing
- Is your congressmember on the list? Check the cosponsor of H.Res.996 here https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-resolution/996/cosponsors.
- As of 01/16, Rep. Brownley is on the list, Carbajal isn’t.
Call them! Minimal script: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want to know why [Rep. _______] is not listed as a sponsor of the articles of impeachment against Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
Add if you want to: Noem is the leader of a gang of domestic terrorists wreaking havoc on cities across the nation and the constitutional rights of all who live here.

3. Demand your legislators end qualified immunity for ICE agents
(https://youtu.be/Tz7_BnVIeoo?si=cODI93zeyEUZO0gW)
From Stephen Miller: “To all ICE officers: You have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties, and anybody who lays a hand on you, or tries to stop you, or tries to obstruct you, is committing a felony,” Miller declared Tuesday on The Will Cain Show on Fox. “You have immunity to perform your duties and no one—no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist—can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties.”
Um, no!
Minimal script for Representatives: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want [Rep._____] to support all bills ending qualified immunity for ICE agents. These include:
- H.R.4922 – Ending Qualified Immunity for ICE Agents Act (by Rep. Shri Thanedar ) AND
- H.R.3602 – Qualified Immunity Abolition Act of 2026” (by Ayanna Presley )
Minimal script for Senators: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want [Sen._____] to cosponsor all bills ending qualified immunity for ICE agents. This includes S.1913 – Qualified Immunity Abolition Act of 2026 by Senator Ed Markey.
Descriptions and current cosponsors
- Ending Qualified Immunity Act (H.R.3602/S.1913): This bill seeks to remove the defense of qualified immunity in civil rights cases, allowing individuals to sue government officials for violating their rights, as Congress intended with laws like the “Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871,” now found under Section 1983, according to Rep. Ayanna Pressley
- Ending Qualified Immunity for ICE Agents Act (H.R.4944): A more specific bill focused on ending qualified immunity for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents

4. Demand legislators remove Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights for refusing to investigate Renee Good’s murder while demanding a criminal investigation into Becca Good.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/44an_a5Domg
The DOJ’s Civil Rights Division is refusing to investigate Renee’s murder! Frankly, we’re surprised that this division still exists under the current administration, although now only in an Orwellian sense, like the “Ministry of Truth” in the book 1984. Following Project 2025’s war against anyone but White Christian nationalists, the head of the division, Harmeet Dhillion, is now the black hole where civil rights, including “Deprivation Of Rights Under The Color Of Law“ claims, (like traffic stop murders!) go to die government-wide. “Several agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, eliminated their internal civil rights divisions, which effectively puts the investigation and potential prosecution responsibilities back to Dhillon’s upside-down Civil Rights Division.”
Keeping the original nameplate on the door is how its head, Harmeet Dhillon, kills the department from the inside without a lot of uncomfortable publicity. However, the publicity surrounding Renee’s murder has brought her tactics out into the open, along with the news that many federal prosecutors have already resigned under her “leadership,” even more after Good’s death, due to her demands to start a criminal investigation into Renee Good’s widow – Becca Good. (More videos on this below!)
Well, that ends now…
Minimal call script for legislators: I’m calling from [zip code] and I want [Rep./Sen.____] to demand that the head of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon’s refusal to investigate the murder of Renee Good and her demands to instead investigate another innocent person – her widow, Becca Good – is grounds for her removal from the DOJ and that there should be a full investigation into Good’s summary execution.
Minimal call to DOJ: Watch this very short video. The DOJ won’t investigate Renee Good’s killer, but they ARE investigating her widow. This is horrifyingly wrong!
Make your voice heard by calling DOJ’s civil rights office at (202) 514-3847. You can press 2 to bypass the long recorded message. If no answer, leave a message stating your name and state of residence, and asking for (1) a full investigation of the shooting of Renee Good, (2) accountability for her killer, and (3) respect for her widow. Direct your message to Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights.

UPDATE: Thanks to all who called. It appears that DOJ has now shut down this phone number
Sad and cowardly. But our message was heard.
Important updates on Minnesota and a call to action. We can make our voices heard with calls and emails to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Email: Todd.Blanche40@usdoj.gov. Phone: (202) 514-2101. If they stop answering the phones, leave a message.
Many of you have asked whether this week’s mass resignations of DOJ prosecutors will only make things worse. I’m sharing my thoughts on that good question. #begood #justiceforrenee
