Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley introduced a motion to the Federal Law Enforcement Oversight Committee, to subpoena footage of Renee Nicole Good’s death. The vote was split 50/50 and the motion failed. But there are 7 Republicans on the committee but only 4 Democrats. That means two Republicans voted in favor of a subpoena. They only needed one more vote! I demand that this Committee once again take up Congresswoman’ Pressley’s motion to subpoena the unredacted, unedited footage of Renee Nicole Good’s death at the hands of a masked federal agent. I urge you to solicit footage from every single neighbor at the scene of her death, so that the committee can triangulate data and make sure evidence hasn’t been tampered with. I, along with the rest of America has watched the video. It is clear. A violent man couldn’t control his temper and murdered a woman in cold blood. This murder was funded by my tax dollars, and I demand you DO something about it. Renee Good had a six-year-old child, whose life will never be the same. Congress cannot continue to support an administration that wantonly preys on us, like domestic terrorists. Enough is enough. Subpoenas, truth, and accountability now!

2. Contact Your Electeds + Governor to Demand Legislation to Unmask Federal Agents
Next, call your Senators and your Congressmember to demand they introduce legislation to unmask ICE, similar to CA’s new law, SB 627 (the “No Secret Police Act”), that prohibits most law enforcement, including ICE agents, from wearing masks or face coverings during operations to ensure public identification. Witnesses to Ms. Good’s murder should be able to easily pick out a face and badge number to use in the future court case. (Note: the Feds are suing us for this law, so we NEED a federal mask ban as well.)

(50501) Minimal script: An ICE agent in Minneapolis executed Renee Nicole Good, an innocent legal observer. They shot her in the face multiple times, and, instead of providing her medical aid, ICE drew their weapons on the medical response personnel who were trying to save her life. This was an act of state-sponsored domestic terrorism. This brutal murder is the direct result of unleashing an undertrained and deputized policing force made up of white supremacists in our communities, and her blood is on the hands of the regime who enabled it.
ICE is a rogue agency with a long-term and documented pattern of human rights abuses, deaths, fear tactics, and racial profiling, with abuses happening right here against your own constituents by their violent, untrained and unqualified officers. Insult to injury, we now are being subjected to gaslighting about Ms. Good’s murder from government officials. This is all unacceptable. This is NOT America.
I am demanding that you vote in favor of a resolution to abolish the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. I am also demanding that you vote to immediately impeach and indict Greg Bovino, Kristi Noem, and other members of the Trump administration who are complicit in ordering a police force with wanton disregard for the Constitution and human rights to invade our communities.
