Figures. It would prohibit the president from creating new national monuments larger than 85,000 acres and adds a bizarre requirement that ALL state and county officials approve their creation. Without unanimous approval, new monuments would be limited to 640 acres if within 50 miles of another monument and 5000 if not.

Apparently, our government is now an arm of BP and other oil and gas companies.
