#1. Send relief, both immediate and long term.

Minimal Script:  I’m from [zip code] and I’m calling [Feinstein, Harris, Brownley, Carbajal] to immediately pass a disaster relief aid package to communities affected by Harvey, both for immediate relief and long term rebuilding efforts.

#2. Trump has called for deep cuts to FEMA, the coast guard, and infrastructure grants that help cities prepare for disasters to fund his stupid wall.

Minimal Script:  I’m from [zip code] and I’m calling [Brownley, Carbajal] to ask him/her to fully fund FEMA and other disaster response programs and don’t allow cuts to their budgets to fund Trump’s border wall fantasy.

#3. Reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program, which will expire on Sept. 30th unless Congress reauthorizes it. The GOP wants to privatize it, which will make it unaffordable for most people. 

Minimal Script:  I’m from [zip code] and I’m calling [Brownley, Carbajal] to ask him/her to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program, not privitize it.
