Remove the SBA Form 1971 to allow taxpayer money to flow to religious entities. The Catholic Church, which is untaxed, unlike normal business, got two special exemptions from Trump’s administration for $1.4 billion in taxpayer-backed coronavirus aid, with many millions going to dioceses that have paid huge settlements or sought bankruptcy protection because of clergy sexual abuse cover-ups. The case they cite in Project 2025 has nothing to do with this issue. (We believe that no taxpayer money should flow to entities that are inherently discriminatory.)
